I was born and raised in a Christian home in southern California. Even though I was blessed to be part of a solid church that taught God’s word faithfully, and even prayed the sinner’s prayer when I was five years old, it wasn't until the age of 17 that I believe I was truly saved. The Lord used the separation of my parents to draw me to Himself, and it was at that time that I repented of my sins, and trusted in Christ alone. I was baptized shortly after, and put on a whole new path in life! The Lord gave me a strong desire to know His word, so I enrolled in a Bible institute in Michigan in 2003. It was there that I met my wife, Katrina, and also given a desire to serve the Lord in full-time ministry. We were married in 2005 and moved to Katrina’s home state of Pennsylvania. I had the privilege to serve on staff at the First Baptist Church of Danville, PA as the college and career ministries director. However, we knew that the Lord had given us a desire to serve overseas, so in 2007 we moved to Missouri and pursued further training to serve as church-planters in Asia. Our first daughter, Violet, was born in 2009, and in 2010 we moved to Russia. We ended up living there for four years, with the highlight of our time serving amongst an unreached people group in Siberia. We were also blessed to have two more children while we there, Keira (2011) and Keith (2013). In fall of 2014 we were asked to come on staff at the home office of our mission organization, Global Serve International, so we moved our family to Florida. I served as part of the personnel department from October 2014- May 2021. During that time, we also celebrated the birth of our youngest daughter, Leah, in August of 2015. From December 2014-December 2016, I served on staff as music director at CrossPointe Fellowship on Anna Maria Island. The Lord brought us to King’s Cross in 2017, two years after it was planted. We left CrossPointe in good fellowship and still love and support that church today. At King’s Cross I began serving by leading singing, and was appointed as one of the Elders in 2018. By Summer of 2021, the Lord had turned my heart and desires to be in full-time pastoral ministry, so I resigned my position at GSI to be fully committed to the church. The Lord has been faithful every step of the way! There are many men of history that have influenced me (Thomas Watson, C.H. Spurgeon, J.C. Ryle, Keith Green, John MacArthur & Bob Kauflin to name a few). These men are all known for their faithfulness and fidelity to God’s word. I pray that God would give me the grace and strength to walk in their footsteps. To Him alone be the glory!
